What is MY2KBUILDS?
MY2KBUILDS is a build sharing platform for NBA 2K (currently NBA 2K26). The idea was to create a site where everyone can share their builds without having to make a video. When searching for builds myself, I couldn't find an efficient way to get them - YouTubers spread information across 20-minute videos (which isn't bad in itself, but doing it dozens of times can be time-consuming), articles are incomplete, etc.
Is the site free?
Yes, MY2KBUILDS is completely free to use.
Do I need to create an account?
No, you can browse builds without an account. Account creation is mainly needed if you want to share a build and interact: comment, save, or adapt builds from the site with your number of cap breakers.

How do I create a build?
Go to Create Build to share your build. Simply follow the wizard which will guide you through each step.
What is a Cap Breaker?
Cap Breakers is an NBA 2K feature that allows you to increase your player's attributes beyond the initial limits set when creating your build. Cap Breakers let you boost your player's stats, but they work on a weighted system: Low stats can get massive boosts (+14 to +15 points), while high stats will only gain a single point from the same Cap Breaker.
How are badges automatically detected?
Based on attributes, height, and player position. The site also differentiates badge tiers (useful for MAX +1 or MAX +2).
Can I edit my build after publishing?
Not at the moment, but this feature should be coming soon.
How do I delete my build?
You can delete your builds via the My Builds page at my2kbuilds.com/my-builds.
3Search & Compare
How do I find the perfect build for my playstyle?
Using the search system, you can look for builds based on one or multiple filters. You can even search based on your cap breakers.
How do I compare multiple builds?
Use our comparator at my2kbuilds.com/compare to compare up to 3 builds side by side.
What do the different tags mean?
It's a system created to make build searching easier. These tags categorize builds by their primary playstyle.
4Coins & Rewards
What are coins used for?
Currently, coins are used to make build requests. In the future, you'll be able to buy various things: themes, featured builds (highlighted builds), and more.
How do I earn coins?
You need to be active on the site: like, favorite, comment, or share your builds.
What is the Early Supporter program?
It's a program that allowed the first 100 people to get an exclusive badge to thank them for their trust. This is no longer available - thank you to them for their support! Several small perks will be put in place for them (for them only!).

How do I customize my profile?
You can customize your profile at my2kbuilds.com/profile/edit.
What are profile badges?
Profile badges are special icons displayed on your profile that recognize your contributions or status. Examples include the Early Supporter badge for the first 100 users and Admin badges for site administrators.

Is my data secure?
Yes, almost no personal data is stored. The site doesn't need your real name. Only email, username, password, and profile information are stored. There is also analytics data, but it's done by us and not through tracking like Google or others. We try our best to keep data minimal and privacy-focused.
